Summer 2012 is shaping up to be a great one! We have lined up tons of great shows and we are touring further than ever before. We will be breaking into several new cities and venues as well as some new festivals. We have also used this winter to work up a good bit of new material. So be sure to check in often as our calendar is still filling up fast!

 

We were also honored to have one of our tunes included on WNCW’s Crowd Around The Mic Volume 15. WNCW uses these albums as a way to reward contributors each year and the only way to get a copy is to donate to the station. Brushfire was very pleased to be asked to play the Downtown Asheville Independence Day Celebration again this year. We are grateful the city thinks so highly of us that they have booked us 3 times in the last 4 years! This year the event was held at Memorial Stadium. Big thanks to Dylan Friedman and Mary White for use of the photos! Also, The KennyKennyKenny traveled to Asheville that evening for the fireworks and was nice enough to include us in the fine HD video he made. The Brushfire footage starts at about the 3 minute mark. You can view that video as well as one we put together of much lower quality below the pictures. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it a fine evening and thanks again to the City of Asheville for having us out!
